PERSONAL TRAINING
As a practicing physician I am very much aware of the problems associated
with inactivity, poor nutrition, stress, illness and the process of aging.
I am also aware of how these problems can be helped by a well designed fitness
program. This is why I am now offering my services as a personal trainer;
specifically for men and women over 50 years.
I will work with you to design a fitness program that will enhance the rest
of your life. There is no need to join a health club or invest in
costly equipment. If you already have such a membership, we can certainly
incorporate it. A core program will consist of an in-depth health assessment and
design of a cardiovascular, resistance, flexibility and balance training
program to suit your level of conditioning. Thereafter, we will make
appropriate changes to add challenge and diversity. If you have special
health issues I will be happy to work with your physician to better meet your
needs.
There are very few specific medical conditions that prohibit engaging in a
fitness program. There are, however, many benefits that are well
documented:
