Lou Moretti  PhD  MD

Originally from the upstate area of New York, I received my BS degree in biology from the State University of New York at Oswego and then relocated to Illinois and received my MS and PhD degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana. In 1975 I earned my MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago.  Since that time I have  been practicing full time emergency medicine in the Chicago and metropolitan area.  In 2000 I co-authored the controversial book ‘It’s Okay To Be Single’.  I currently divide my professional endeavors between medicine and the development of Personally Best.  I am certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  I am also certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
